A little bit about Leigh Ann.

Leigh Ann Warner brings compassion, depth, and genuine connection to her work as a therapist. A graduate of the University of Illinois and St. Louis University, Leigh Ann combines her academic foundation with years of clinical expertise to help individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.

Leigh Ann lives in the Metro East area with her family — her husband Jason, a dedicated first responder, and her children Cache and Emerson. At home, she’s surrounded by her loved rescue dogs, Esther and Bourbon, who reflect her passion for animal rescue and giving second chances.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll often find Leigh Ann out on the water, enjoying time on her boat or finding peace on her paddleboard. A coffee aficionado and avid traveler, she believes in savoring life’s simple moments and discovering new perspectives along the way.

Leigh Ann is also a strong advocate for journaling, both personally and professionally. She often encourages her clients to use writing as a tool for reflection, growth, and healing — a practice she deeply values in her own life as well.
Mission
For me, therapy has always been about more than just talking — it’s about creating real, sustainable change. Change that moves you forward, helps you understand yourself more deeply, and allows you to live with more peace and authenticity.
Over the past sixteen years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they face life’s hardest moments — grief, conflict, confusion, and the quiet weight of “not feeling like yourself.” What I’ve learned is that healing happens when honesty, courage, and compassion meet. That’s where real transformation begins. My mission is to make therapy a safe and empowering space — one where you can be completely yourself. I believe in a collaborative approach: we set goals together, identify what’s standing in your way, and develop practical tools to help you make meaningful progress. Some days, that means deep emotional work; other days, it’s about small steps that lead to big shifts. Both matter.
I’m not here to tell you who to be — I’m here to help you discover who you already are underneath the layers of stress, expectation, and self-doubt. My role is to guide, challenge, and support you as you reconnect with your own strength and clarity. Real change doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen — when you have the right support, a bit of courage, and the willingness to do the work. I’ve seen it countless times. Watching people move from surviving to thriving is why I do what I do.
If you’re ready to understand yourself better, strengthen your relationships, or simply find your way back to peace, I’m here to walk that path with you.
Method
I use a variety of methods to support clients in understanding themselves and creating meaningful change. Depending on your goals and needs, therapy may draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns, Mindfulness-Based practices to build awareness and calm, and Solution-Focused Therapy to identify strengths and create practical steps forward. For relationship or family work, Systems and Attachment-Based approaches help uncover patterns that shape connection and communication. Many therapists also use elements of Psychodynamic or Humanistic Therapy to explore deeper emotions and personal growth. Leigh Ann’s approach is integrative — meaning she blends techniques to fit each person’s unique personality, pace, and goals — ensuring therapy always feels collaborative, personal, and effective.

Credentials
Approach
Every person’s journey is different, and therapy should reflect that. My approach is highly personalized — shaped around your individual experiences, goals, and personality. I take time to truly understand who you are and what you need, then tailor our work together using methods and strategies that fit your life. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or new ways to move forward, our sessions are designed to meet you where you are and support lasting, meaningful change at your pace.
Therapy
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my work is centered on helping people navigate life’s challenges with understanding, resilience, and hope. I know that tough times can leave you feeling uncertain or stuck, but I also believe deeply in the possibility of change. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to face things alone — where we work together to find clarity, build coping skills, and reconnect with your own strength. My greatest passion is walking beside clients as they move from struggle toward healing, growth, and a renewed sense of peace.
Expertise
I believe that effective therapy is rooted in both experience and growth. Over the years, I’ve pursued extensive advanced trainings and continuing education to stay informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices in mental health and wellness. This commitment allows me to integrate current science with compassionate, practical care — ensuring that each client receives support that is relevant, informed, and grounded in the most up-to-date understanding of how people heal and thrive.
